The aim of the information we provide is to help in the fight against the counterfeiting particularly the £1 and £2 coins.

Whilst all denomination of coins are being counterfeited we have limited out pages to just the £1 and £2 coins.

Since 1989 we have been helping all sectors of the vending industry such as parking, amusement and transportation vending machine operators in the fight against counterfeiting.

In 2008 the treasury asked the royal mint to find ways of removing counterfeit £1 coins from circulation. To achieve this the Royal Mint teamed up with numerous cash collecting companies and asked them to use their machines to help find the counterfeit coins.

This resulted in many of our customer that uses these cash collecting company's out of pocket.

We started our counterfeit fact files in order to help our customers understand what was happening and what could be done to help them.
